Orb is independent

Orb is an independent browser published by Dennis Yilmaz, an individual. It isn't affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of the following:

• The Browser Company of New York, Atlassian, or the Arc and Dia browsers
• Google, Google Chrome, the Chrome Web Store or Widevine
• The Chromium Project
• Apple

Orb was built independently. It doesn't contain code or assets from Arc.

Other people's names

Names and logos of other companies and products belong to their owners. Orb and its website use them only to identify those products, not to suggest any connection with them.

For example:

• Chromium. Orb is built on Chromium, open-source software from The Chromium Authors, under its open-source licence.
• Arc, Safari, Chrome and other browsers are named so you can import your own data from them.
• Search engines and DNS providers are named, and search engines are shown with their logos, so you can choose one.
• The Chrome Web Store belongs to Google. Orb can install extensions from it and shows "Add to Orb" on its install button so that the label matches the browser you're using. That doesn't mean Google or the extension's developer has any connection with Orb.

Using the name Orb

Please don't use Orb's name or logo in a way that suggests we made, sponsored or approved something we didn't. You can use the name to refer to Orb accurately.
